Always call the Public Works Department at 635-2387 prior to calling a plumber when you experience a sewer problem.
A city employee will be dispatched to the location to determine if the problem is located within the city's sewer main.
If a problem is detected on the sewer main the city will make the necessary repairs as quickly as possible.
If the blockage occurs between the main sewer line and the resident's house the resident will need to call a plumber to make the necessary repairs and/or remove the blockage.
